Am I still alive? Have I faded into dream without ever knowing? How can my life be real? Surely, it is not. There is too much beauty, too much conflict, too much emotion and feeling to be real. Or perhaps I am waking. Maybe I was dreaming, and now I am in a state of wakefulness, like a newborn first exposed to the light. Life is new and different. I'm looking at everything, seeing it for the first time. I'm growing, changing, morphing into something new. I moving forward without looking back. Rather than shying away from change, I'm embracing it, enjoying it. Growth does not occur without changes.

Confusion is waning, excitement is taking hold. What wondrous experiences will I have? What will I learn? What changes will come? Who will affect me? Whom will I affect? Whom will I love, lose, befriend, grow with? What pains will I endure? What beauties will I find? How many myriad possibilities lie ahead of me? I look to the future, and never have I been so eager for it. I look forward to every experience, every shared idea, every argument, every sunrise, every kiss, everything.

Today, I smile. I do not care if you don't like my ideas, or me. I do not care if I've never met you or if we're good friends or if we were friends but are no longer. I cherish your existence. I wish you the best in your lives. I love you all.
